Where are you located?
I work in DC but live in the historic part of Greenbelt, Maryland.
What type of blogger are you?
I am a personal style blogger (showcase my daily outfits) but I also offer fashion advice for all women regardless of age, size, budget, or lifestyle.
How long have you been a CapFABB member and what is your favorite CapFABB memory?
Been a member since the very beginning at that first happy hour at Dirty Martini! My favorite CAPFABB meeting is probably from the Ann Taylor Metro Center event – it was so awesome to see the store packed after hours with the stylish fashion and beauty bloggers of our great city!
If you could give any advice to other bloggers what would it be? OR what advice are you looking for from other bloggers?
If you want to blog – BLOG. Don’t talk about it, do it. Focus first on the blog – quality content, clean layout, good photos, and then worry about networking and branding and social media. I see too many bloggers spread themselves thin because they feel they need to do everything. But there’s no point if the foundation isn’t solid. Focus first on the blog and the rest will come in time.
Tell us about yourself…
By day I work in digital communications for a nonprofit. I’m married to my high school sweetheart who is a photographer and yoga instructor and we have a three year old daughter named Emerson. While I do have a passion for fashion, I also love live music and concerts, reading, yoga, and traveling.
Hidden talent or quirky factoid about yourself…
I can wiggle my pinky toes independently and I am an ordained minister.
What is your favorite part about living in DC?
Well I actually live in one of its suburbs, but I love this area because you have access to everything. The theater, awesome music venues, fabulous restaurants, museums, politics, and we’re a hop, skip, and jump from some amazing beaches and the Eastern Shore.

Great advice about starting to blog! You can’t do it all at once, so focusing on the actual blog is a pretty simple but sometimes overlooked detail!
