Tell us a bit about your blog (and how long you have been blogging):
A Diva State of Mind is a lifestyle blog. Fashion has become the majority of the content over the years, however, I also provide my point of view on other topics related to lifestyle including events, community service, music, dating and more! I have been blogging since September 2009.

How long have you been a CapFABB member and what is your favorite CapFABB memory?
I have been a member of CapFABB since 2011. I don’t necessarily have a favorite memory. My favorite thing about CapFABB is that I have been able to meet some amazing women who love fashion and blogging just as much as I do.

If you could give any advice to other bloggers what would it be? OR what advice are you looking for from other bloggers?
I would advise bloggers to be authentic and don’t feel like you’re competing with other bloggers.
Blogging is a lot of work but it should be fun and your blog should be a reflection of you. If you want to blog about more than one topic, go for it!

Tell us about yourself…
I am a Silver Spring, MD native. I have a MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. I started my personal styling business two years ago so I have been focusing on expanding the business and growing as a stylist. Outside of blogging and styling, I love attending brunch, going to concerts and traveling.

Hidden talent or quirky factoid about yourself…
I played the piano from elementary school to junior year of high school.

What is your favorite part about living in DC?
Living in the DC area means there’s an endless list of things to do every day of the week!
